All physicians in this practice are board-certified surgeons who take care of both benign and malignant surgical problems.
General Surgeon & Surgical Oncologist
Dr. Shyamali Singhal
A leader in the fields of surgical oncology and general surgery, Dr. Shyamali Singhal studied chemotherapy, advanced surgical care, and improving patient outcomes by looking at the whole patient.
Dr. Singhal serves as the Medical Director at the El Camino Hospital Cancer Center where she has developed a multidisciplinary approach to cancer treatment that involves not only chemotherapy, radiation, and surgery but also working closely with patients to focus on the treatment of their bodies during and after the chemotherapy process.
Dr. Singhal graduated from John Hopkins University and the Albert Einstein College of Medicine in New York City, where she received her M.D. and a Ph.D. in Molecular Pharmacology. After completing her surgical residency at the University of Washington, she finished a post-residency fellowship in surgical oncology at the City of Hope National Cancer Center in Duarte, California.
